" 14 Years Old, I came to GA and went to a new school and wanted something new and decided to shave the side of my head. My mom tried her best to help maintain my hair when it got to an awkward stage in growing this crazy style out, but it became a major task and YouTube University became my best friend in learning how to maintain my new natural hair.
I really began to express myself through hair and realized I was really talented at it. I started to get asked who did my hair and when I told people I did, they immediately asked if I offered services to do their hair. I began to do my friend's hair throughout high school as an lternative to maintaining our natural hair.
I attended Georgia State University in 2016 and really began to create a name for myself as a creative/ protective hairstylist and used hairstyling to fund my education in Business Marketing throughout my college career until 2019. I realized should dedicate most of my time to the hair craft, I should directe my focus to my passion. I decided to pause school, quit my job, and legalize my business as an LLC and learn different techniques and participate in different opportunities to enhance my business.
Because of my AMZING support system of clients, family, friends, and supporters I was able to grow my name into something I wouldn't have even imagined. I enrolled in Empire Beauty School post pandemic and learned amazing new skills and met amazing people who influenced my career to take it to new heights.
Today, after over 10 years of hands on experience, certifications, features in nominated artists' album covers and photoshoots, creative directing Hu$tler Hair Shoots, and servicing my community in two country regions for over 5 years, I still remember the girl with the shaved side of her head. The girl who moved here from New York and just wanted to feel beautiful, accepted, expressive; the girl who wanted to show the world what she had to offer, to unleash there true hustler in her and it all started in how she looked. That feeling is something I still strive to spread to my community.
I always say 'You don't feel like yourself unless your hair is done'. I get to help people look in the mirror and gain the same confidence that helped me become the Hustler/ business woman I am today and that feeling is the best reward from this career.
I'm extremely thankful to everyone who has helped me and continues to help me in this beautiful path and I'm excited for what the future holds!
I'm here to bring out the Hu$tler in you because you Hustle harder when you look good."
